We are looking to add two developers to our team to continue development of existing products and to launch several Software as a Service offerings.
We are a Java and Groovy house using Apache Struts 1 and 2, Spring, Hibernate, EJB 3 (JPA), and many Open Source tools. We are beginning development of our Software as a Service offerings in Ruby on Rails, and plan to integrate Rail into our other existing software offerings.
Required Skills
Candidates need not be a current Java or Ruby developer, but must have web application development experience. We believe good developers can learn the things they need to get the job done.
Must be familiar with Unix/Linux/OS X command line. (We are a Mac/Linux house.) Must understand HTML, and web programming in general. Experience in C, C++, Java, Perl, PHP, Python, VB.Net, C#, etc. acceptable. Must be self motivated and excited about technology and the continuing life education process inherent in being and/or becoming a top level developer.
Extra Skills
Experience in any of the following areas is a plus: Object Oriented Programming; Java; Struts 1 and/or 2; WebWork 2; JBoss; Hibernate; EJB 2 & 3; Ruby on Rails; MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other SQL servers; XDoclet; Ant; Maven; ItelliJ IDEA, Eclipse or NetBeans.
Education
